Umm you have $5 to buy meat just for yourself for 2 days dinner?? Well try hamburgers or beef or pork, I bet you could get a small amount of any of those for under $2.50!!

you should go buy the cheap pot pies. theyre only like 70 cents! or the banquet meals theyre on sale at mijer for 5 for 5! just look around for sales at grocery stores! have fun!
Get yourself some ground beef. You can make tacos, sloppy joes, ground hamburger and rice, etc.
Here is how to make two meals out of one pound of ground beef.
One pound groundbeef
Hamburger buns or regular sliced bread
Sloppy joe mix or seasoning
Pasta
Pasta sauce
Make sloppy joes according to mix. Save leftovers. Next day make your pasta and heat sauce on stovetop with left over sloppy joe mixed in. You can even use the leftover over bread or hamburger buns to make garlic toast.
Ramen solves everything. No joke.
Ramen noodles with bologna and mustard.
Go to the market and buy whatever is on sale.
go to the store and see what's on sale, then plan around that.
do you have veggies? or canned tuna, or frozen meat of any kind?
here's a goulash i like:
sautee mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, garlic, hamburger meat (or chicken, or pork or whatever), add can of tomatoes, cream of mushroom, sour cream, worcestershire, salt, pepper bake 350 25 minutes then top with cheese and put back in till melted.
Stew meat can be pretty cheap. Chuck it in a crock pot all day and add potatoes and veggies 20 minutes before you want to eat it. Maybe instead of potatoes, mix some of the juices with flour and then mix it all in until it's got some gravy to it, then serve it over pasta.
If stew meat's too much... you're just going to have to do without. Have fun with more chicken.
buy a can of tuna and make a tuna casserole...
make some meatballs up with your pasta, when have a meatball sandwich friday.good luck
Get dried beans, fresh veggies of your choice, and pasta or rice and make a big pot of tasty, nutritious, filling soup. If you have the fixings in the house, make some biscuits or cornbread to go with. This stuff is all cheap anywhere, but especially the dried beans, pasta, and rice at bulk food stores where you can buy just the amount you need instead of a whole package.
NOTES
1. Soaking the dried beans takes several hours, but none of this is difficult or requires that you be an experienced chef.
2. You can speed the soaking process by using hot water.
3. You can GREATLY reduce the gassy side effects of the beans by changing the water two or three times and by adding a little vinegar (any kind) to all but the last water change. You won't taste the vinegar later.
$5.00 for two days?
Go to the store and buy:
*Bread
*Sliced turkey/ham
*Sliced cheese
*Mayo
*Mustard
If you buy the cheap stuff, $5.00 should be enough. If not, forget the mustard or cheese. Make a sandwich!
