Here is a wonderful recipe. It makes 2 loaves, so make one for school, and one to keep!

Amish White Bread
Ingredients
2 cups warm water
2/3 cup white sugar
1.5 tablespoon active dry yeast
1.5 teaspoon salt
? cup vegetable oil
6 cups bread flour

Directions
In large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water, and then stir in the yeast. Proof until a creamy foam has formed. Mix the salt and oil into the yeast mixture.
Mix in the flour 1 cup at a time (keep count!). Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl and turn to cover. Cover with damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled (1 hour).
Punch the risen dough down (what fun!). Knead for a few minutes. Divide the dough in half. Shape into loaves and place in 9x5 loaf pans. Allow to rise for 30 minutes more.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

For a full and easy meal why not Shepherds Pie.

Brown 1 lb ground beef with chopped onion, put in a 8 square casserole dish. Top with a can of tomato soup, pour a bag of mixed veggies on top, top with shredded cheese and then make enough mashed potatoes for four and top the whole thing with that. Bake for 30 mins until potatoes are browning on edges and looks bubbly. Top with additional cheese if desired.
Delish!
For dessert, make baked apples, sugar cookies and a scoop of ice cream, or peach cobbler. Write me for any of the above recipes if you want them. I'm happy to share!

Good luck on your project!!
