Any receips for an avocado milkshake?!

Question: Scoop the flesh of one avocado into a blender, add cold milk and sugar to taste and a few ice cubes. Blend. Pour into a tall glass and serve.

You could freeze this (without the ice cubes) and have avocado ice cream, a favorite summer delight in the Philippines.

We also scoop avocado on top of crushed or shaved ice in a tall parfait glass, add sugar and milk of cream, and mix everything with a long spoon.

In the Philippines, avocado is considered a fruit and eaten as dessert. Filipinos find it strange that Westerners (like my husband) eat avocado as a vegetable, with mayonnaise, crab, prawns, etc.

Avocados grow wild in my country. When in season, avocados sell everywhere for as low as 10 US cents a pound! That's 5 cents for each large avocado.

In the streets of Manila, there are carts offering avocado and milk on crushed ice, made on the spot from whole fruits. Price? 2 US cents per tall glass.
