How do I make pizza sauce?!

Question: ..you're funny!!
2 Tins of chopped plum tomatoes
garlic (2 cloves or to personal taste!)
1 small red onion
fresh basil
finely chop onion and garlic and saute in a large frying pan/saucepan- med heat (don't brown them)
Add tomatoes and basil and cook until reduced down - turn up heat a bit! (thicker sauce!)
You can either have a chunky sauce or I put this through a coarse sieve and have a smooth sauce.
So easy take about 15 mins!!
cool before putting on your base.
Good luck!

I get a tin chopped toms and drain. blend them with a hand blender and mix with some tom puree then spread on your base. its dead easy.

8 tomatoes
garlic
carrot peeled cut into 4 (length then cross ways)
half cup sugar
water
bay leaf
basil
parsley
salt and pepper

chop tomatoes, gently fry with carrot and garlic until garlic is cooked.
add sugar, water & bay leaf and simmer until reduced by half.
chop in the herbs and season to taste.
simmer gently until it's fairly thick and not wet.
cool for half an hour.
put in the blender
this does enough for a week, so divide into 7 (6 freezer bags + 1 for tonight's pizza)
roll out dough, put olive oil | pizza sauce | cheese | then topping | then a bit more cheese | then a few herbs again.

yummo.

1 Tbsp oil
1 clove minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 can tomato sauce 14oz
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or oregano

cook garlic over low heat,,,,add remaining ingredients,,and cook on low for at least an hour to incorporate all the flavors.
If I am using pepperoni on the pizza I like to add about 1/2 cup chopped pepperonis

I use tomato sauce, adding pizza spice and a little bit of garlic and onion.

I used to work at a busy Italian pizzeria and we used to keep things pretty simple, 2 large (approximately 2kg) tins of tomato and a bush of fresh basil (about 2 large handfulls, but add to taste) and about a teaspoon of salt, but again it depends how salty you like it and how much salt you've added to your dough. Then just use a blender...

get fresh tomatos, basil, thyme, oregan, and some onion powder. put all into a blender with tomato past and a little water, about 1/4 cup. Blend until tomatos are well "chopped" up. you might need about 4 or 5 tomatos.

8 peeled tomatoes the reder the better or two cans whole peeled ones
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 3 fresh cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 minced red bell peppers (omg what it does to the taste) or 1/2 paprika powder
1 whole bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 table spoon Parmesan cheese
(1/4 ) chopped onion (optional)

in a deep sauce pan, heat the olive oil add the garlic and onions stir for a min then add the tomatoes (add a bit of water 1/4 cup), and lower the heat
After 10 min, mash the tomatoes with a potato masher or fork until u create a thick sauce, add the rest of the stuff and on low heat for 20 mins

enjoy

Cheat - mix a small tin of tomato puree with some worcester sauce, garlic puree, dried origano & some chilli if you like. All my friends love this!

1 clove garlic, mashed and minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil
dash red pepper, optional

Finely chop a pizza, and lightly fry in some olive oil. You could add some extra herbs and maybe some tomato puree if you like. Stir in a tablespoon full of flour to turn it into a roux, then add some cold milk and bring to a gentle simmer. When the flour has cooked through, and the sauce thickened, it's ready to serve.
What a great idea, making a sauce that tastes of pizza! I bet you could sell it!

Pizza Sauce

4 tablespoons Virgin olive oil
4 large Garlic cloves, crushed or pressed
2 pounds Ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and chopped or 2 cans peeled
tomatoes, strained and quartered)
Salt to taste
Black pepper, freshly ground to taste
1/2 cup Dry white wine,or less
fresh basil
Italian seasoning, only a little if desired.

3 sprigs Fresh oregano, chopped or 3 teaspoons dried crushed oregano
Heat the oil in a medium saucepan and saute the garlic until light
gold. Add the tomatoes, season with a pinch of salt and pepper, then
stir in the wine and oregano. Lower heat and simmer until the tomatoes
are soft, but not pulped (8 to 10 minutes for fresh tomatoes, 5 minutes
for canned ones), stirring occasionally. Put aside until ready to use.

Simmer together a can of chopped tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of tomato puree, 1 tsp of mixed herbs, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, some pepper in a saucepan for about 5-10 minutes until slightly reduced. Let cool and then spread onto your pizza base.
