1lb hamburger or turkey burger. one egg. one package of onion soup mix. salt, pepper. crushed up crackers or bread crumbs. mush together with clean hands. then smash in the bottom of your crock pot and let it cook on low for about 4 hours. (depending on slow cooker) You can put ketchup or salsa on top too but I don't like it. good luck.
Mix one package of dry onion soup mix per lb of meat. Flatten out the meat to look like rectangle on plastic wrap, add a package of thawed chopped spinach and a can of mushroom slices (drained). Roll it up, seal the ends and bake. You wont be disappointed.
You could add mozzarella cheese as well but really seal those ends or it'll leak out.
What I like to do is mix in some seasoned bread crumbs and two eggs and some pepper, onion powder, garlic powder. Mix all the ingredients together and mold it into a loaf. Put it in theoven and bake it @ 350 degrees for about an hour depending on the size of the loaf.
Some people will baste the top with ketchup. I do not.
2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
1 bag of saltines
2 cans of tomato soup
put the ground beef in a large bowl, then add the eggs. Break all the saltine crackers up and place in the bowl. mix together.
Place the mixture in a loaf pan. Pour the tomato soup over. Cook 400 degrees for 45 min or until beef is cooked.
Keep it simple, onion, garlic, ketchup on top, the less filler crumbs and cracker-meal, the better the meat will taste, and not fall apart as easy. Lean ground tastes better than ground chuck.
saute diced onions, bell pepper, and garlic in butter for 4 minutes mix in ground meat.
add lipton soup mix, diced tomatoes, 2 eggs, italian bread crumbs, and parsley
mix well, shape, then squeeze ketchup on top. cover with foil tightly and bake for 40-45 minutes and VOILA!
TRIED AND TRUE
1-2-3 Meatloaf
2# ground chuck/round
2 envelopes Lipton Onion Soup mix
1 2/3 cup Milk
1 jar chunky Chili Sauce (I use Heinz-it's awesome)
Combine first three ingredients in mixing bowl. Shape into loaf or sm loaves (I prefer my own little meatloaf on my plate). Put in shallow ungreased baking pan. I line mine with foil for easy clean up. These are not greasy though. Bake at 350 degrees until done. (Approx. 1 hr.). Last 10 minutes, top with chili sauce and bake.
My fave meatloaf ever and it's super easy!!!
1 lb ground meat
1 tube of saltine crackers smashed
1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
1 egg
Mix all by hand, while I'm mixing it I heat my oven to 400 deg. and if you have a cast iron skillet put a little oil in it and put in the oven to heat, once it's hot, put your meatloaf in and pat down to an even layer, that will make a delicious crunchy crust on the bottom. And it usually takes 30 -35 minutes, 10 minutes before it's done I spread ketchup on top.
