Would wrapping bacon around pork chops be too much pork?!

Question: if so please give me another idea

Answers: if so please give me another idea

Dude.... Bacon around anything is better. Meat is meat, go for it. If they don't like the bacon they can take it off, but yeah, flavor wise, wrap that porkchop with bacon!

yes it would unless you grilled it and then took the bacon off before eating.

I feel it would, but know others who would agree. IF you must have bacon with another meat, steak or chicken both seem popular, and the ever-present bacon cheese burger.
As for pork chops, I have tried them a variety of ways, my favorite is to smother them in a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup and baked, followed by simply marinating them in your favorite spice blend. Best of luck finding something you like.

Yes it does seem like alot.....y not wrap the bacon around some dates and then grilling it?? My cousin made these and they were sooooo good because the flavors balanced each other out.

In a word? Yes. Try some cheese, preferably Stilton, or cook them with leeks, very tasty. Casserole them with some onion, peppers, and carrots. Mmmm mouthwatering.

Yes to much for me, but try it and see if you like it. For me I just sprinkle with a little cajun seasoning and that is it.

nope

pork chop is not smoked, bacon is and will add a different flavor to your pork chop just as it does to eye of round for filet mignon!

go for it!! get all the gusto from life that it has to give!!

How about duchess potatoes to go with that? mashed potatoes spiced with cheddar cheese, chives and parsley, and piped onto non stick pan and browned under the broiler.

In my opinion, there can never be too much pork. The more, the better. Go for it and enjoy.
