Microwave Spaghetti?!
Answers: Is it possible to properly cook spaghetti in the microwave?
It can be done, but it actually takes longer than on the stove.
In a 3 quart covered casserole dish combine 6 cups of water, 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp butter or oil. Microwave on high 11 - 15 minutes or until it comes to a full boil. Add the pasta, cover and microwave on high 7- 10 minutes or until tender. Stir and drain.
ewww
i think it wouldn't good for ur stomache
idk dont have one
to reheat is fine...but to cook?...
It will take some trial and error
um, not really.
i would not recommend it
If you have a sturdy microwavable glassware, boil water with the noodles, add sauce!
I wouldn't
Eww whyyyy?!?!
Probably.. but I say things might go wrong like your noodles get dried out and stuff.
Just don't.
Use a pot pleeease.
Yes, you can heat just about anything in the microwave, just be sure to put a napkin over the bowl you're cooking the food in, and set the microwave on 30 seconds. If it still isn't warm, do it again for another 30 seconds.
Oh, and make sure that no metal is in the microwave. That would make the microwave spark. ;)
you could but it wouldn't taste as good as it would over the stove.
i don't think it will be a good outcome
i really dont think so. For spaghetti to be properly cooked, it needs to be placed in boiling water, so if you have a big and strong enough microwave maybe, but i wouldnt try it at home
no
unless you cook it in water first or in water in the microwave but im not 100% sure it wont explode
do it and tell me how it works out.
use ramen noodles cook em i the microwave and dont add sesoning, then add premade sauce and microwave again. add cheese and ur good.
tell me how that tastes......
Yes, you can cook a turkey in the microwave, if you wanted to. Just make sure you keep enough water in with the noodles, so it doesn't burn. And cover the sauce, bc it'll splatter everywhere! The noodles may not have the same texture, though as if cooked on the stove.
Sure, just as long as you put enough spaghetti like half and half,
a little extra virgin olive oil,and sprinkle a little bit of water.
yes...but every microwave is different...try a small amount first before adding a larger amount........remember to add enough water so the noodles can cook. test umm and add time or water if they need to be cooked further.
nasty
I haven't heard of that being done but you could try it by boiling the water then putting in the spaghetti. Be sure to put some kind of oil or butter in the water. Microwaving food does destroy many of the nutrients but if you aren't eating for nutrition you could always try it.
If you mean cook the pasta in the micro. If that is the only source of heat it can be done . It is just a matter how desperate you are.
You would need to bring the water to a boil add the pasta let it sit ., drain, start water again repeating, but not with the pasta in the micro.
yes you can
