yOU BOiL iT FOR 7 MiN

3 minutes

Let the water begin to boil, place the egg on a spoon and slowly immerse it into the boiling water. Wait 3 min and take it out.

few minutes

run them in rice cooker cooked perfectly everytime

! minute 20 seconds!

3 minutes from boiling.

Take the eggs out of the fridge before boiling them. You don't want the shells to crack when you place them in boiling water, so your eggs should be room temperature before you cook them.

To me, a perfect softboiled egg goes into the boiling water for 3 minutes and 45 seconds.

Addition: Please don't listen to these people who are telling you to make a soft-boiled egg by boiling them for anything over 5 minutes! Those are HARD-boiled eggs people!

My mom always called them "3 minute" eggs. I think you drop them into boiling water, and cook them for 3 minutes, but I don't recall. I don't make them myself so I don't actually remember.

4 minutes once the water hits a rolling boil

5 mins 30 secs at about 500

i experimented this many many many times and this is conclusion- i did all that to answer you question so please give me 20 points!

it will just take like 5 minutes, you'll know when they start cracking a little:D

IT TRUELY DEPENDS ON THE EGG BUT I WOULD TELL YOU TO BOIL IT 3-5 MIN... MAYBE A LITTLE LONGER IF ITS A BIGGER SIZED EGG

HOPE I HELPED ???

runny or hard around 3 to 5 minute

1 Don't overcook the egg. This is typically where most people go wrong. If the shell is sticking to it and you lose most of the egg as you peel it, then you know you have committed this sin. Hard-boiled eggs should be boiled for 5 minutes, soft, runny eggs for 3 minutes.

2 Wait until water has come to the boil and then time it with your watch, or better still an egg timer (3 or 5 minutes depending on whether you want soft or hard) to cook your perfect egg. Placing eggs in boiled water often results in the committing of sin No. 1.

try 3 minutes and 30 seconds from when the water starts to boil !

My grandfather was a chef and he always tolled me to fill up the pan with room temp water and place the eggs inside while water is cold. Then turn up the heat all the way. Once it starts to boil set a timer for 20 min.

The eggs come out perfect every time. Enjoy!

I usually Boil them on High for 15 minutes and they turn out just fine...Enjoy.

7-10, but hard boiled is waaaaaaaay better

boil it for 10 -15 minutes and put it on low but not to low cause you do not want it hard

THe people who say 3 minutes are right, providing the eggs are not straight from the fridge.
Just a silly story: during the war someone was looking after her brother and was heard to say ' My brother loves his eggs very much and I cook them longer and longer, but they never get softer!'

Boil water first

soft boiled egg 3 min 30 sec
if you like the middle a little runny 2 min 30 sec
if you like your egg well done 5 min

If you start them in tepid water and time them from when you first put them in, 4 1/2 mins will give you a soft but not runny yolk.

boil water first, then place egg then start timing for 3 minutes.

You either get em runny or you get em hard there is no in between.

10 min

About 4-5 minutes.

WHOA what is with all the thumbs down? I make soft boiled eggs this way all the time! Not runny and not hard. Jeez.

about 9 minutes -- 15 is hard

for 10 mins i like making that

Just a little under the usual hard boiled egg. I think it takes about 10-15 minutes for a hard boiled egg to be ready so a soft boiled egg should be done about 7 minutes, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't boil soft boiled eggs. I do however boil raw eggs.
