Bacon Potato Omelet
For a fun way to present basic breakfast ingredients-- potatoes, eggs and bacon
INGREDIENTS
3 bacon strips, diced
2 cups diced peeled potatoes
1 medium onion, chopped
3 eggs, lightly beaten
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
In a 9-in. nonstick skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving drippings. Set bacon aside. Cook potatoes and onion in drippings until tender, stirring occasionally. Add eggs, salt and pepper; mix gently. Cover and cook over medium heat until eggs, salt and pepper; mix gently. Cover and cook over medium heat until eggs are completely set. Sprinkle with cheese. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with bacon. Carefully run a knife around edge of skillet to loosen; transfer to a serving plate. Cut into wedges.
I put chopped bacon in a non stick pan, cook until brown, add dice onion, chop cilantro, dice bell pepper, cook until done, add dice tomato, then your egg, let cook a little, add grated cheese and fold, then finish cooking. put a little cheese on top and serve.
You can put what ever you like in a omelet, This is how i make mine, beat 3 eggs, pour into small fry pan low heat, i add ham, mushrooms and spinach topped with sliced American cheese on half of the omelet, as the omelet firms up enough you flip the side with nothing on it over to cover ingredients, cook til cheese starts to melt out then slide onto you plate.
I would use a 2 egg minimum. In a bowl mix the eggs and a splash of water. Beat until slightly fluffy/foamy or pulse in a blender. Bour into a well greased pan that has been nice and warmed at med-hi heat. Pour in the eggs and turn down to a low-med heat. Wait until the eggs start to set on the bottom of the pan. With a spatula (I like the rubber/plastic ones) start to push a little of the egg towards the center of the pan, letting the raw egg fill in the space behind the spatula, rotate around the pan. Do this one or 2 times around the pan to make it fluffy. Then let the omlet set. If you were to add other ingrediants you would do it now. Using the spatula fold the omlet in half, and slide out of the pan onto a plate.
Wala, fluffy omlets.
Well you take 2-3 eggs, whip them together set aside. Put whatever ingredient's in a small satue pan and heat them up. take out of pan put off to the side.heat pan on medium high with a little butter, oil or non stick spray pour eggs in hot pan, take a spatulas and lift eggs from side of pan until there is little or no liquid left on top. Flip the om let over add your ingredient and cheese. slide onto a plate and cover it with cheese and nuke for 22 seconds
