Which is the healthiest way to cook an egg..?!

Question: poached, fried, boiled..?

Answers: poached, fried, boiled..?

The healthiest would be boil it hard, then remove and discard the yolk and eat the white. The white is where the protein is; the yolk is where the fat and cholesterol is. Eat the whites.

One thing you can do if you enjoy the yolks, is to make scrambled eggs, but discard half the yolks before yous scramble them. You get basically the same taste, but this is much healthier.

boiled

scrambled

umm your mom

boiled or poached.

poached

idk.
most delicious tho,
eggs benedict.
:D

Poached or hard boiled.

Without a yolk.

poached or boiled

without the yellow part. Just the clear.

Egg whites only! >.<

boiled

i would think scrambled cause it has milk.
but then again if you just cook the white stuff and not the yolk then its healthy (but i dont know if it tastes good) :)
because the yolk has all the fat and calories and stuff.
but im no cook
so i dont know.
:)))

Hard boiled, without a doubt. Then, if you want to maximize the benefits, only eat the white.

Best would be boiled because you are simpply cooking it with water. Scrambled egg is really good too but not as healthy as boiled. Enjoy your eggs :)

Well that's the FIRST thing I would say! I think you need to look at all your options before deciding and making a final choice. Good luck!

either poached or boiled are both the healthiest no oil or butter like fried.

Boiled or poached.... are equally healthy....but poached is not dry like boiled.

poached, because not only does it not add oil to the egg but it adds water which is healthy. This is being very very picky.

But it really depends on your definition of healthy, i just assumed you meant the one with the least calories. To a starving person the fried egg would be the healthiest!

Technically, they are all healthy as long as you don't add anything to it...like frying it with oil or butter, but water for boiling it/poaching it is fine. So they are all equally healthy...but the yolk has all the cholesterol and a good amount of calories!

boiled. that way you don't use any oils that are loaded w/ fat and calories. fried things are nvr good.

any, because you can fry it with non-stick cooking spray (like Pam) that adds minimal fat.

huevos rancheros

poached....

Poached in boiling water with a tsp of vinegar added.
Bring water to a simmer, stir rapidly, & drop egg in centre.
Cook until yolk reaches desired degree of firmness.

boiled ore fried in a Teflonpan on low

Either boiled or poached.

Definitely not fried. :)

Hard boiled, it has the least calories than the other ways.

I think the egg will give the same nutrition but you want to avoid the bad things that go along with cooking it. Frying an egg usually requires some form of butter or grease so stay away from that.
Boiled or poached are good ways to cook one.
