What are wheat berries?!

Question: Wheat berries are the original part of the wheat that is taken from the wheat plant in the harvest. They are small brownish seeds, which have a line down the middle.

Wheat berries can be cooked to make cereal, ground to make flour, or soaked and sprouted, for use in salads, and other recipes. They can also be sprouted and used to make a fermented health beverage called rejuvelac( for rejuvelac recipes, you can see my blog http://prettysmartrawfoodideas.wordpress... and search on rejuvelac).

Enjoy.
