If you can get an air popping machine youll lose the calories and fat from the oil (from using it in a pan) Wal0mart has them for around $20 but if you want to do it in a pan follow these directions :O)

Use a big pan (make sure you have a lid for it) put in about 2 tablespoons of oil so th ebottom is covered in oil heat it on high until the oil becomes super hot (with my pan I can hear a little popping sound) than add 1/4 of popcorn or enough to fill the bottom of the pan. Put a lid on it and swish/shake it around it will start to popping. I have a glass top electric stove so after I have put the popcorn in I make sure I coat all the kernels then leave it on till I hear popping then like every 30 seconds ors so I take it off the burner and shake it so the popcorn doesnt burn.
Hope this helps you out some

You need to buy a air popper. Was very popular years ago.

You need an air popper.

All oil has the same fat/calorie content, whether it's palm oil or olive oil. (But definitely don't use olive oil for this, it smokes at a fairly low heat and you need high heat for popcorn popping)

Get an air popper. They have microwave ones or you can get a seperate appliance. I personally like oil popped better but since you are on a diet the air popped is definitely better for you.

i have a Presto PowerPop and it works great..i buy a bag of popcorn, put about 2 Tbsp of dry popcorn in and stick in the microwave using the popcorn 'cycle' and it comes out perfectly..you can buy a product called Molly McButter which is fat free and has 5 calories per serving to sprinkle on it for a buttery taste.....what i like is Reese brand cheesy popcorn seasoning which has zero calories and zero fat..i like to do this for an evening snack and cut up an apple to eat with it..very healthy and low fat and calories..
