I am making chocolate chip cookies and I just found out that I have no vanilla what should I use as a replace-!

Question: ment???

Answers: ment???

nothing. it's best just to leave it out or go to the store and get some. Whatever you do don't add lemon juice!!!

lemon juice

Just don't use any. You don't really NEED to - it's just a little extra flavoring. I actually prefer not using vanilla in my chocolate chip cookies.

Just leave it out, it won't make much difference with the chocolate chips in there already.

Vanilla is a flavoring. If you have Almond extract, you could use it instead of vanilla. The best thing to do would be to leave out any flavoring because vanilla is just that. You did not say if you have any other flavorings such as kahlua or coffee. If you were to use these, the 1 or 2 teaspoons would not help your cookies. You need to use an extract which is a undiluted unsugared product. I wish you luck and have a cookie for me. ;)

You really do need vanilla for a really yummy cookie. And if you want an amazing cookie, buy the highest quality vanilla you can find. It will make a huge difference!

nothing

Next time you are making chocolate chip cookies, substitute margarine for peanut butter. If you have some dark rum on hand, use twice as much as vanilla.
