Baking a pound Cake?!
Answers: i do not have the suggested Bundt/ tube pan for making a pound cake what other pans would make a good pound cake?
You can use loaf pans. Fill them about 1/2 to 2/3 full of batter. bake a little less time than a bundt pan.
a bread pan would work. it would make it the same shape as a frozen sara lee.
just a regular circular cake pan
you can use any loaf, square, round pan, but you'll have to check the doneness in about 3/4 of the usual time.

My Granny always did them in a bread pan. Occasionally, she would throw in 6 hershey bars in recipe!
Can use a bread pan, round pan, rectangular; must check it regularly for doneness.
Women baked "Pound cakes" a very long time before the Bundt/ tube pan was ever invented.
Good question though!
