How do you fix your ham steaks?!


Question: Wine Glazed Ham Steaks

1 lb center-cut ham slice 1"thick
1/2 c dry white wine
1/4 c orange juice
1/4 c maple syrup
1 tb cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tsps white wine vinegar
1/2 ts dry mustard
1/4 ts ground ginger

Combine all ingredients except ham in saucepan. Bring the sauce to a slow boil, stirring constantly, then reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes. Grill ham over mesquite coals. Brush frequently with sauce on both sides, allowing 10 minutes of cooking time for each side. When done, place ham on serving dish, and pour remaining sauce over entire dish.

I cook it in the crock pot with garlic onions and potatoes and carrots and when i eat it I use hot mustard mmmmmmm now you did it

i just fry them in butter. i like to serve them with fried potatoes and green beans.

******BAKED HAM STEAK
1 center cut ham steak (2-3" thick)
Brown sugar
Dry mustard
1 sm. can Pet milk
Hand pack ham with mustard and brown sugar. Place in heavy skillet. Cover with Pet milk. Bake covered at 325 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours, until ham is fork tender

Maple Glazed Ham Steak
25 min | 5 min prep | SERVES 3 -4

Ingredients
1 (1 lb) ham steaks

1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Directions
1Mix together maple syrup, vinegar and mustard in small bowl.
2Brush one side of ham steak with mixture and place glazed side down in skillet over medium heat.
3Brush top of ham steak.
4Cook over medium heat, turning frequently, until cooked through and glaze has thickened.

I just heat them in a pan..boring I know LOL
