Question: I just want to know how much a piece of bread cost?

Answers: I just want to know how much a piece of bread cost?

A piece of bread at a bakery will run you about .35 cents over here in my area. If you are asking about a slice of white bread...I really don't think they sell it that way.

well you can get a loaf for like 60 cents at a store

$ 1,000,000,000.00 + tax

5 cents.

how can you buy a single piece of bread!?

Very little if you make it yourself.

You can't buy bread by the slice. As part of a loaf, a slice would range from about 5 cents to 15 cents. If you bought it at a diner (toast) 2 slices are about a dollar.

Why would you pay for only 1 piece unless you are at a restuarnt where you want it as a side or something. Then I would expect to pay about $.75 to $1.50 per 2 slices.

Restaurant:
Side order of bread or toast 1.25
with butter.........

Anything that people ask for ... UNLESS you cook it y'self.
In Oz (Australia - it can range from $1 a LOAF of bread to $6 a loaf of bread - you gotta specify the parameters, mate.)

you specified some answers which I thank you for BUT I'm talking about that REAL SLOW cooking in the oven .... after which you slap a slice on the BBQ and 12 minutes late your MediumRare steak to die for ... and it melts in your mouth.

"I cook mine at 250 over night."
Cool - how many hours is over night ? 12 ?

Now ... are you goin' to help me? or what?
