How can I make White Melting Chocolate for candy molding less sweeter?!

Question: I have some of those Wilton White chocolate wafers for candy making and I find them to be too sweet for what Im making. Does anyone know how I could make them less sweet while still being able to use them in molds?

Add candy flavoring. Wilton makes some (4 flavors sold in a set-Peppermint, Cinnamon, Cherry and Creme de Menthe) or you can use Lorann Oils (see Sources), which come in several flavors.

If you don't want to flavor the candy melts, why not try adding a pinch of salt to the melted white candy melts, to cut the sweetness? This is what we do to cut the sweetness in frosting. Just make sure the salt is fully incorporated and doesn't change the texture of the candy melts or create salt spots in the finished product. Try a test of this first, going all the way through to the molding process.

Try a different brand of chocolate. White chocolate is sweet though...maybe try dark.

*You can't really add anything w/ out risk of making the chocolate not moldable.
Try adding peppermint flavor or almond flavor...you may want to try different brands...some may add more sugar than others. Try a high quality brand like Scharffen Berger.

not sue what you could really do...perhaps add some other flavoring to it. possibly try some LorAnn Oil in a not sweet flavor....
toerh then that, not sure what else to do to make it less sweet...maybe add some cream cheese?....not sure if it would still work too well with the molds then....hmmm
