Is it ok to put foil in the oven?!

Question: I'm baking a cheesecake with an already-made crust. I poured the mixture into the crust, but it's still in the foil. It's Keebler ready-crust. Is that ok? Or was I supposed to take it out first :P

It's fine. People wrap chicken etc in foil the whole time to stop it burning so easily.

Ps Can i have some cheesecake?

Yes, there's nothing wrong. Just NOT in the microwave. :D

only if it is aluminum

foil is fine in the oven.

yes it is i always do that
it helpes cook things without burning them

aluminum foil. YESS

foil is fine to put in the oven. just make sure you dont put it in the microwave :P

yes fine

the foil plate is fine

That is fine. Put it on a baking sheet to bake it.

foil is ok.....we bake many cakes with foil under it..

im pretty sure you cana put foil in an oven, just NOT in a microwave

Yes- but not in the microwave.

Yupp, it's fine.

Of course. Youre doing it right. :)

yes you can put in in an oven just not a microwave

You can put foil in the oven. My mommy always used to cover our Thanksgiving turkey with foil.

yyh but better in microwave

foil is just fine in the oven, and those pie crusts need that tin to stay together. The only place I don' t put foil is in the microwave...lots of pretty sparks. :)

Yes, oven is fine, its actually better than putting food on a tray or something, just not the microwave, youll get a big fire!!!

-Slash

You can put it in the oven. Its metal.

Why do you think they cover potatoes in foil before baking them?

You are fine it is OK to put foil in the oven Now the Microwave is a different story

sure is

no dip !! there is nothing wrong with puting foil in that oven!! sherlock !!

it will be ok... but try not to do that a lot.
i think that keebler stuff - is only good for refrigerated cakes, like "ready made" cheesecakes, and key limes... not really the kind you bake...

Yes. I use it with steaks, meat pies, and stuff that can explode in a foamy mass.

Yes. That is fine. BUT NEVER PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE!

Foil is ok in the oven. If it's the Keebler ready-crust I'm thinking of, it's meant to be baked that way. You'll be fine - just make sure there's no paper on it.

u can put foil in the oven, not in the microwave. unless u feel like a bonfire in ur house

if ur trying to get urself killed... yes
