girl dont listen to those folks...Lindts is the best and also Godiva...when you add cream it becomes smoother and is known as a ganache....you can use grocery chocolate, but it's not asgood..... you just use semi sweet because the strawberries are sweet...and ive seen chocolate covered orange slices...and chocolate covered bananas...and raspberries in chocolate boxes...it ALL good!!!!

funny, your picture doesn't look blond

What? Are you serious?

1. Get strawberries.
2. Cover strawberries with chocolate.
3. Eat.

There are some on yahoo recipes. Just type in chocolate strawberries and several recipes will pop up. Most of them have ratings from people who've tried the recipes.

Hmmm...strawberries and chocolate

what is a good recipe for cereal?
you cover the strawberries in chocolate, duh.
the recipe is in the damn name of the fooood!!!!!!!!!!

A good recipe?

Take some chocolate chips or chocolate squares.
Put them in a bowl.
Melt then in the microwave.
Wash the strawberries.
Make SURE you dry them well before you dip them in the melted paper.
Place them on a wax paper covered pan to harden.

This is also delicious on bananas, but you have to eat them before they harden, otherwise they turn brown and the smushiness of the banana doesn't work well with hard chocolate.

I say you just get a chocolate fondue fountain, and dip any assortment of the the following items in it:

Strawberries
Bananas
Potato chips (it's the best - trust me)
Marshmallows
Graham crackers
Vanilla wafer cookies. I prefer Nilla Wafers.
Cherries
Pineapple chunks
Macaroons
Pretzels (yum)
Shortbread cookies
Walnuts
Brazil nuts
Clusters of almonds
Macadamia nuts
Cashews
Peanuts
Pecans
Any dried fruit

You can buy chocolate almond bark in the baking sections of the grocery. Microwave for a min or two in a glass bowl depending on how many squares you use, till melted. Stir occasionally and then dip you prewashed and dried strawberries in it. Lay them on wax paper or plastic wrap to cool, lift and place on a plate for serving...mmmm enjoy!!!

hi there, hopefully this helps you out a bit!! I would use semi-sweet chocolate(I actually like using Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate or Trader joes semi-sweet chocolate.)

Chocolate covered strawberries:
2 pints strawberries , with stems if possible
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate chips)
2 tablespoons corn syrup
6 tablespoons butter

1. Wash strawberries and pat dry.
2. Place on paper towels until they reach room temperature.
3. Melt chocolate chips, corn syrup and butter in a double boiler, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove from heat and dip each strawberry into chocolate, coating 2/3 of strawberry.
5. Allow excess chocolate to drip off into pan.
6. Place stem side down on waxed paper covered baking pan or cookie sheet.
7. Refrigerate until set, about 15-20 minutes.

Chocolate also works well with:
- apples (I like washington apples the best with chocolate)
- pears
- dried dates
- dried prunes
- dried apricots
- blackberries
- gooseberries
- cherries (bing or rainer)
- green grapes
- figs
- pineapple
- oranges
- bananas
- honeydew
- cantaloupe
- mild peppers
- jalapeno's
- sweet peppers

get a fondue fountain. so much easier.
