In a regular oven, I have done 350 degrees for an hour, wrapped in foil.
350 degrees for 1 hour
in microwave about 10 minutes on high power
It's worth the extra time to bake it in the oven.
I usually do 400 degrees or so for about an hour.
i usuallly put it in the oven for about an hour...on 350 degrees...inthe microwave will be more difficult cuz it cooks fom the inside out and the oven cooks from the outside in...so it will overcook the outside and the inside will be hard....but if you want to try i say 15 minutes on high
microwave for about 7 minutes. check and if its not super soft with fork then try for like 5 minutes more.
It depends on the size of the potato. If it small to medium, i would say about a half an hour at 350F. If its large, 450F at maybe an hour or longer. Just check every few min for softness and moister.
I like to cook it for a few minutes in the microwave first, (microwaves cook from the inside out) then I put it in the oven for a bit to crisp the skin. I think you couls put them in at 350 or 400
Heat the oven up to 350, coat a potato with oil and lay on tin foil in the oven, it takes 1 1/4 hours to get tasty.

microwave
1. Wash and dry the potato.
2. Poke holes in the potato to vent steam.
3. Place the potato on a plate and put it into the microwave.
4. When using a 1200 Watt microwave, set the timer to 3:00 for a very small potato; set it to 4:30 for a medium-sized potato; and set it to 6:00 for a large potato. Huge potatoes require 7 to 8 minutes.
5. The microwave should stop before the potato is soft enough for eating and while it is still slightly firm deep inside.
6. Let the potato stand for five minutes. This allows the inside of the potato to finish cooking with the hot steam that is trapped inside. Letting the potato cook its final minutes with its own trapped steam (without the added microwaves) helps it to become fluffy inside without over-drying the outer portion.
7. After waiting for the passive cooking, you now have a baked potato ready to eat.
Microwave...poke holes in it and bake 4 minutes
I do mine in the microwave...prick the potato with a fork on all sides then micro wave for approx 4 min. for one potato.
For 2-3 , microwave for 6-7 min.
