What are some good birthday meal ideas?!

Question: The birthday is for my one year old niece this Sunday and while my sister is wanting to order pizza for fifty people. The problem is, there will only be enough for one piece of pizza for everyone. And these people are not light eaters! :)

I offered to make hot dogs or hamburgers for everyone or even barbeque chicken. She said that these were all normal and boring for a birthday, that everyone had them...

She wants to spend no more than around $40.00 - $50.00 on food. Also, we only have an outside grill about two feet by two feet to cook on. There will be small children there as well so the ideas must be munchkin friendly. :)

Anyone have any clue as to what I can offer her to make?

hmmm, then they probably would think that Sloppy Joes or Beef or Pork BBQ sandwiches would be boring too.

Maybe add some Taco's, Burritto's, Hot wings. And/ or get more Pizza!

quite honestly she needs to allow more for food expenses, are these people going to die of dehydration? my suggestion is to make it a potluck, have everyone bring a covered dish and buy a couple staples like drinks, plasticware, and make a dish of your own, and coordinate with people to make sure there are desserts, meats, side dishes, salads, etc. no one will mind and it'll be fun for everyone.
