Characteristics of an ideal cookie?!

Question: Soft on the outside, chewy on the inside.

They must rise a little bit, there's no bigger disaster than a paper thin cookie. They should be tall.

I like the M&M cookies that my local grocery store Kowalskis sells.

I have a spot for giant pumpkin chocolate chip cookies they sell at the store down the street.

A little crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside.

Homemade chocolate chip, the ones where the chocolate is warm and melty. Can be flat, doesn't have to be. Nuts are a plus but not necessary.

An ideal cookie should be soft and chewy, like an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. Or crisp and coconutty, like Bachelor Buttons. Those are my 2 favourites anyway.

I like them slightly crunchy on the outside and chewey on the inside.

soft
