When you make the layers, only make then one thickness of lasagna pasta at a time then top with the filling and make the next layer. If you use more than a single layer, it will clump
Don't buy that pre cooked garbage. Buy the other ones and boil them as per box directions. They work way better.
toss a bit of olive oil over them
I have used those before and learned through experience to make the sauce more watery and cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil until the last 15 minutes of baking time so the noodles can steam and soak up the extra liquid. I started with the recipe on the back of the pre-cooked noodle box.
Good luck!
you aren't supposed to soak the precooked sheets first.
are you adding broth to the filling? it should be pretty liquidy.
make the sauce with meat mixture and beef broth all equal up to one quart, if you're making a regular family sized lasagne. make sure it is covered with a double layer of foil, and bake for a full hour.
if you dont use precooked- you have to fully cook the noodles first, and still add some broth to the filling.
Pasta needs a lot of room to cook....fill the biggest pot you have with water...bring to a hard boil place sheets in one at a time...let them cook a full 10 mins....drain and rinse ...
Lasagna sheets dont have to be perfect.....more times than not you will have a few that strip ....but simply piece them together.....
Buy the ones that are fresh pasta and boil them first. The oven ready type usually gets sticky and doughy tasting.
just add some olive oil y the water or some butter
If you are buying oven ready lasagna, don't pre soak them, use them dry like they come. Try the Barilla brand. I swear, the sheets bake up "pillowy" every time.
i don't boil my sheets they cook and soften in the oven
for my lasagna i never use the already cooked noodles, buy the regular ones and cook them to al dente, use them you will find the results so much better
