What's the difference between jam and jelly?!

jam spreads easier. jam is for teh win. :D
Jam usually still has fruit in it. and jelly does not

jam is more fruity but has no seeds or chunks of fruit.....
Jam is thicker. Jelly is kinda gooey and spreads easier. =D

Jams are made from the meat of the fruit...Jellies are made from the juice...& pectin
When you make jam, you use the flesh of the fruit (and sometimes skins, too, as with berries), cooked and mashed up. When you make jelly, you cook the fruit, strain the juice, and use just the juice to make the jelly.
jam comes from your toes and jelly....well jelly i don't know. I personally prefer jelly! yum : _ )
