I like to make what I call HOME MADE HAMBURGER HELPER, I boil up the noodles ( doesn't matter what kind) I saute the burger and then add veggies... what ever is in the house. I add a can of mushroom soup or if you don't have that I make a rue with flour and milk and cheese and pour it over the burger and veggies. Then I mix in the noodles.

USE : Mushrooms and onions and green pepper and then what ever else is on hand.

? 4 tablespoons butter
? 1 small onion, chopped
? 1 ? pounds ground beef
? 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
? 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
? Salt and pepper
? 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
? 2 large eggs
? 2 tablespoons flour
? 1 cup whole milk
? 4 ounces cream cheese
? ? cup ricotta cheese

Preheat the oven to 350

Cook onion in a large skillet in 2 Tablespoons melted butter, med-high heat, 3-5 minutes. Add beef and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Stir in the cinnamon and nutmeg and season with salt and pepper.

Add the tomato sauce and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, 3-5 minutes. Pour into an 8 inch square baking dish, set aside.

In a medium bowl, lightly beat the eggs and set aside. In a small saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Whisk in the flour and cook, whisking often, until the mixture is smooth, about 30 seconds. Slowly whisk in the milk until thickened.

Lower the heat to medium and stir in the cream cheese and ricotta. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk one quarter of the cheese sauce into the reserved eggs until smooth. Whisk the egg mixture into the cheese sauce in the saucepan.

Pour the sauce over the meat in the baking dish and spread evenly. Bake until the top is lightly browned and firm to the touch, about 40-45 minutes. Let cool for ten minutes, cut into squares to serve

Try to make this brown hamburg and drain. Peel about 6-8 potatoes and boil them. get a 9-13 baking dish. Place 2 cans of vegetable beef soup in the bottom. Place hamburg mixture over that and top with mashed potatoes. Dab some butter on top place in oven at 350 until brown.

meat loaf

grab some tator tots, green beans and cream of mushroom soup and make Tator Tot cassaurole... I know alot of people wrinkle their nose at this, but its kind of more like comfort food!
OR, make some mac and cheese (box is fine) and add the gb to it. Make it extra cheesy by adding more cheese.
OR, make a taco salad!! or super Nacho meal!

taco salad , enchiladas , chili

Well, chili is always a favorite at my house. Also a beef stew using ground beef is good too. Instead of your basic potatoes, carrots and celery, you could add whatever you have on hand- corn, bell pepper, squash, zucchini, beans, etc. I also like to add broken spaghetti or elbow macaroni. Here’s a good and different recipe for meatloaf~
