butter one side of each piece of bread. Fill with your favorite cheese, and if you have ham, those are always good. Put some butter in a big skillet, melt drop the sandwiches in and brown on each side til golden. Not the healthiest way, but a quick answer. Serve w/chips and pickle?

You can bake on cookie sheet too at 400 deg. takes longer.

butter one side each of bread, put 2 slices of cheese in between, good cheese like gouda if you can, and place on med. hot non stick grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese starts to melt.

take a pan and bread butter bread on both sides then but chesse on bread put another piece of bread on top, take a flippy thingy and keep turining it over ever like 10 secs, good luckk! btw i had grilled cheese tonite tooo!

haha okk ill be quick!!

get 2 slices of bread.
(make sure you have a skillit on a burner)
butter each slice of the bread, u can eitehr do just the inside of the slice or outside and inside...doesnt matter.
place 1-2 or however many slices of cheese you want on each slice and then smack them together like a sandwhich. keep flipping it on the skillet until the cheese is melted and the sandwhich looks good!

good luck!!

1. Get out 2 pieces of bread per sandwich
2. Cut cheese for each sandwich
3. Spread mayo on one slice and mustard on the other slice. Place cheese in between.
4. Put a little butter in a pan and place sandwich in pan. While one side is cooking, spread butter on the top of the sandwich.
5. When the bottom of the sandwich is brown, flip over.
6. Take out when the sandwich is brown on each side and the cheese is melted.

If you want to get fancy, you can add some tomato, roasted peppers, or meat to the sandwich.

take 2 pieces of bread and start heating your skillet
spread margarine on one side of each slice
put 1 buttered side down in the hot skillet
place a couple slices of cheese on it
place other side of bread BUTTER SIDE UP
FLIP when bottom is browned to your liking
brown other side to your liking
take out of pan put on plate and eat

Toast the bread. Place 2-3 slices of cheese on one piece. Cover with second piece. Spread margerine on both sides and place in a hot fry pan (cast iron works best). Weight down with a plate with a can on top. Grill until golden brown, turn over and repeat with second side.

Can add cooked slices of bacon, tomato slices or both. Also, you can spread one side of bread with mustard.

Hope this helps.

i dunno how to explain how to make a grilled cheese... but i do know how to tell you that there is only one H in SANDWICH.

I made these tonight! here ya go..
1. butter both sides of bread, put one butter side down in medium hot pan to toast.
2. toast both sides of bread (2 slices to make one sandwich haha)
3. place cheese on toasted side of bread facing up
4. place other toasted bread on top
5. wait for cheese to get melted
6. Congrats! perfect grilled cheese everytime!

for each sandwich

spread cheese whiz on 2 slices of bread and put em together to make a sandwich. spread a thin layer of butter on the outside of the sandwich, and fry in a frying pan on med-high heat for a couple minutes on each side. (or until nice and golden) cheese whiz sounds gross, but it tastes the same as if you use cheese slices! good luck!

Darparre 's answer is very good but you can use just place American cheese slices. I use them and my DH says I make the best grilled cheese around. That's what most restuarants use.

Butter one side of 2 slices of bread. Place a good flavored cheese in between and place the buttered sides outwards. Dont put the heat on hi, it will burn your bread and wont melt the cheese that well. low to medium heat works best. You could add cooked bacon or tomatoes to the grilled cheese as well. cook until golden brown on both sides and wala!

Take your bread and place a thin layer of butter on one side of the bread. Do that to two slices. You can add two slices of cheese or one slice and any type of meat or veggie. and the place the bottom slice, butter side down, in hot skillet and let it brown for a sec, then add the middle and then add top to it with butter side up. Then flip and let brown. Keep close eye and melt the cheese and not burn the bread.

I make mine by spraying a frying pan with pam put it on the burner let it get warm butter one piee of bread let it warm up put 2 slices of cheese on it then put another piece of buttered bread on tops then slowly flip it till the cheese is melted mmmmm sooo good

get some frozen garlic bread put garlic side down put on lots of cheese put garlic bresd on top flip once. serve great sandwich
