How to "Condition" Nonstick Pans?!

Question: How do you "condition" a stainless steel non-stick pan?

Answers: How do you "condition" a stainless steel non-stick pan?

pour a little cooking oil in, take a napkin, and rub the oil into the Teflon. There is no need to do anything else. Cook and clean.

My Mom does cast iron, I haven't seen it done in a SS pan.

She coats it with cooking oil and gets it hot, lets it cool off. She dries it and repeats. Then she doesn't wash it after using it, just wipes it down.

If it is "non-stick" it probably has a coating over the steel. In which case you DON'T "season" it. Just be careful what tools you use with it. Metal will eventully ruin the surface.

non stick pan just needs alittle oil wipe it with a soft napkin.let in soak in,then repeat litely.kc
