Are hot pockets supposed to be hard from the outside when you make them in the oven and 350 degrees??!

Question: this is the first time trying them so are they supposed to be hard when they are finished baking

Not that hard, you may have overcooked it. Try one in the microwave covered in wax paper so its not dried out.

Cook for about 2 and a half minutes in a home microwave

hey, another way, you could do it. seeing as i hate microwaves, they leave breads in a horrible state. place the hot pocket in the oven like normal on a cooking sheet or stone only instead of just on the trey, wrap it in tin foil. aluminum foil always keeps breads softer. Report It

  • umm..actually, supposed to be kinda soft..not really hard, just so that it hold the cheese in..when u press on the crut/outside, it should sink in a little even if u press lightly

Your oven might need to be adjusted.

I think they do better in a microwave.
