Quick Mediterranean Pasta

This is a wonderful, easy side dish or main course.

INGREDIENTS
8 ounces spaghetti
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon olive oil

DIRECTIONS
In a large pot with boiling salted water cook spaghetti pasta until al dente. Rinse with cool water. Drain well.
In a large bowl mix the bread crumbs, oregano, basil, and pasta. Pour olive oil to your likening over the mixture.

I'm very picky at my mother for lunch, haha. Um, I usually like those microwavable pizzas, soup at hand, or pasta. Although I see you want recipes.

My FAVORITE is bread, with cheddar and parmison cheese with a little garlic butter on it, then heated. I love it! (It's also good on a bagel)

Another good this is pasta with cheese sauce, made of lot's of cheese, milk and a little bit of flour. It tends to be a little bland so you could add ketchup, spices or whatever you like.

Hope that helped a little.

Mmmm Fried bologna and cheese used to be my favorite but she probably wouldn't like that. If you have something to keep it warm a meatloaf sandwich is really good too. Grits keep warm for a while. They are a good side with honey and butter. Oatmeal too. Hot rice cereal with sugar and milk should hold temp. Tough question!

You should try making a pasta ginger en tilapia.
I love this. Get tilapia and grill it, 3-4 minutes on each side. Then, boil farafelle noodles (bow tie pasta), add ginger, pepper, salt, and toasted pine nuts. Mix and serve with a ginger soy pesto.
In your food processor/blende,r put small amount of FRESH ginger (about the size of a penny), basil, and spinach in and give it a whirl until it's a thick pesto. Garnish with slivered almonds. Yummy!
Hope she likes it!
