2 cups of milk?!

Question: I am making home made macaroni and cheese. The recipe calls for 2 cups of whole milk. If I buy one of those little 12 ounce bottles, will that be equal to 2 cups?

16 oz is two cups.

use a measuring cup

No it wont.

no, it will not be enough.

No, that would be 1 1/2 cups, sorry.

1 cup = 8 oz

You will need 16 oz of milk for your recipe. Buy 2 of them and pour in 1 1/2 bottles and you should be good.

You can have less milk but your mac & cheese won't be as creamy. You could pour in 1 bottle of the milk and add a little water to get the right consistancy.

1 cup equals 8 ounces...............so you would only have 1 1/2 cups
