What are some good smoothie recipes?!
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. pineapple juice
1/2 banana
1/4 tsp. ginger root, peeled and grated
1/2 c. crushed ice or 2 small ice cubes
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
ORANGE SMOOTHIE
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 c. milk
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 c. sugar
10 cubes ice
In a blender, combine orange juice concentrate, milk, water, vanilla, sugar and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
STRAWBERRY ORANGE BANANA SMOOTHIE
1-1/2 C. frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
1 banana, peeled and cut up
1/2 C. orange (or apple) juice
1/2 C. nonfat vanilla or other flavor yogurt (not frozen)
1/2 C. small ice cubes
2 Tbs. protein powder (optional)
In a blender, whirl together all ingredients until smooth and thick. Serve immediately. Makes about 3 C.
KIWI SMOOTHIE
4 kiwi, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tsp. lime juice
1 banana
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
2 tbsp. honey
10 ice cubes
In a blender, combine all the ingredients except for 2 kiwi slices. Serve in tall glasses and garnish each with a kiwi slice.

ice-pistachio almond ice cream-sugar-choc. syrup
ngredients:
2 ripe bananas, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 cup milk
2 Tbs. honey
1 cup ice cubes
Directions:
In a blender, combine the bananas, yogurt, milk, honey and ice cubes. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth, about 1 minute.
Pour the monkey milk into glasses and serve immediately. Serves 4 adults or 8 children.
You can buy frozen fruit so you don't need the ice. Mango, strawberries, with orange juice or apple juice is a good one.
