CORNFLAKE COOKIES

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cornflakes, crushed
2 c. flour, sifted with 1/2 tsp. soda & 2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nutmeats

Combine in order given. Drop by the teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly brown

OR

PEANUT BUTTER CORNFLAKE COOKIES

1 c. white sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. corn flakes

Bring sugar & syrup to a boil. Remove from heat & add butter & peanut butter. Melt, pour over cornflakes. Mix together good. Spoon onto wax paper. Makes 50 cookies.

OR

CHEESE CORNFLAKE COOKIES

8 oz. pkg. sharp cheese
1 stick butter
1 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 c. corn flakes

Grate cheese and cream with butter. Add flour, salt, paprika, and Tabasco sauce. Stir in cornflakes. Pinch off piece of dough, roll marble size, press down on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not brown. Makes about 50 cookies

OR

OATMEAL - CORNFLAKE COOKIES

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. rolled oats (oatmeal)
2 c. crushed cornflakes

Mix butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and add to butter mixture. Add oatmeal and corn flakes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
