Of course you can..........if broken out of the original package just put it in a ziploc freezer bag. The freezer bag usually keeps it from being freezer burnt as long as it doesn't stay in the freezer for so long---I think you are usually supposed to use things within a month if I was taught correctly.

Of course you can freeze meats, do you think that raw meat (or cooked) is stored in the refrigerator all the time or what?

Wow.

Anyway, they sell several products ranging from plastic bags, to vaccuum sealer, to plastic cotainer that can all reduce freezer burn.

freeze them in usable size packages
wrap in aluminum foil, then put in a ziplock
use within a month or two

yes its usually best to freeze them for up to 3 months (can be done longer though). It is best to store them in cling wrap plastic or just try to get all the air out the bag (if you use one)You will get freezer burn if the meat is not "covered" correctly or if there is too much air left in teh packet it is stored in.

yes you can freeze meats. use freezer quality bags. make sure to get as much air out of the package before you freeze it. if you can't afford a vacuum sealer machine, buy some straws & use those to suck the air out of the packages (tastes gross but definitely worth it)
just buy enough meat for a couple months--otherwise they will freezerburn

Zipper freezer bags with all air squeezed out. Use with in a couple months..

just wrap it up twice in alumin foil and it stays good until you cook it and no freezer burn!
