Brown or White Gravy ?!

Question: On potatoes that is.

Answers: On potatoes that is.

brown on potatoes. white on chicken fried steak

i like both. it depends on what i'm having with it...

brown

Totally depends. Usually brown, but if it is country fried chicken, then white.

Brown

brown

brown onion gravy, (mouths watering again)

I like "Smoked Gouda Cheese Sauce" on my mashed potatoes. Much, much better than gravy any day.

It depends what I'm having with it chicken, then white, beef then brown. Don't know why, just makes sense.

either one is fine

roasted chicken gravy

It will depend on what else I am having.
White ( with parsley) for fish.
Brown ( with onion) for sausages or steak.

This all depends on what meat you are having with the potatoes and gravy.
