The best tasting hamburger seasoning?!

Question: My fiance thinks that hamburgers are very blah. I would like to use a seasoning that is going to make him say... WOW! Does anyone have any suggestions?? I am planning to cook them on the George Foreman grill. Thanks!

y do you want him to like hamburgers? hes better off in my opinion

edit: i was implying they are unhealthy, not that im a vegetarian

Lots of people use dried onion soup mix.

IMO the GF grill gives no flavor, so that may be your problem.

Try sprinkling a bit of worcestershire sauce on the patties after forming, and sprinkling on both sides w/ Lawry's Seasoned Salt.

I pour some Worchestershire sauce and some Hot sauce in the hamburger mix.

My husband likes this one..
Just season one pound of hamburger with one packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dry seasoning mix and then mix in one cup of shredded cheese. Try not to over handle the meat.

Top with caramelized onions, mozzarella cheese and barbecue sauce.

Add a little ketchup and mustard to your hamburger mix. Also Ranch dressing packets are delicious!

2 pounds chopped beef chuck or round
1 onion
1 tablespoon heavy cream
Freshly ground black pepper
Unsalted butter
Vegetable oil, as needed
Kosher salt, to taste
Spread the meat out on a board and grate 2 to 3 tablespoons of onion into it—use a fairly fine grater so you get just the juice and very finely grated raw onion. Now mix in about a tablespoon of heavy cream and some freshly ground black pepper, to taste. Form into patties--a 6 to 8-ounce patty for an average serving.
Using a black iron skillet or your best copper one or your pet aluminum frying pan, Teflon-coated or not (with a Teflon coating you won't need much fat, just a little bit for flavor), and cook the hamburgers in the butter and oil over fairly high heat, giving it 4 to 5 minutes a side, depending on how well done you like it. Salt this creamy, oniony, peppery hamburger before serving it on a buttered bun or English muffin, or as a main course with sliced tomatoes and onions or some home-fried potatoes.

Celery salt. Sounds weird, but it is really good. Some restaurants use it. They also use it, I think on Chicago style hot dogs.

i all ways mix a couple spoon full of ketchup in with about 5 drops of green Tabasco sauce(hottest sauce on earth) and it ROCKS!!!
if you don't like things that HOT you can put a bit of Mexican salsa in the bun that's good too

all ways eat burgers with cheese and bacon for best taste!

We mix BBQ sauce into the ground beef before making into patties. Then we do an "inside-out" burger. We make a hole in the center of the patty, stuff it with cheese and bacon, cover the hole with gr. beef and then grill. It is WONDERFUL and VERY tasty! Good luck.

1. add an envelope of taco seasoning mix to a pound of hamburger, then form & cook

2. find a good meatloaf recipe & form patties of that--cook as usual

3. add grated or small cubes of different sorts of cheeses to the meat--cook as usual

4. use either taco sauce, pasta sauce or your favorite salad dressing (ex: bleu cheese, ranch) as condiments

5. have lots of additions available, slided tomatoes, sliced onion, pickles, several cheeses, radishes, carrots, black & / or green olives, chips, crackers, dips

6. Use unusal buns, not just normal hamburger buns. Try hard rolls, potato rolls, english muffins, sourdough bread, whatever.

i always use a pack of onion soup mix, a few dashes of worchesteshire sauce and a generous few shakes of a nice hot sauce. we usually have franks red hot here. then a bit of garlic powder( along with the egg or two, and crushed crackers-not bread crumbs) different crackers can add flavour too like a veg. cracker or french onion flavoured etc.
or what about just a splash of italian salad dressing and finely chopped onions with the rest- never tried this-just came to me as maybe mite taste good.
