How do you remove the odor from a pot that meat was burnt in?!

Question: I let the meat boil in water until all the water was gone, like a doofus.
Now, the pot has an odor, even after cleaning it, scrubbing, soaking, etc.
It is a blue with white specks pot... "grannyware", I think it is called.
I am letting it soak in a baking soda mixture right now.
Please help!

for me all I do is take it full of water and boil it out.No fancy methods.Just boiling water.

put it on the stove with lowest setting ..add 3 cups water to one juice from lemon...let cook for 30 mins.Never fails

the baking soda will do it....

If the other 2 answers don't work (but I think they will) try warming some vinegar in the pan and letting it sit until it cools. Good luck!

Tlry boiling the baking soda/water mix. one or the other of the suggestions should take care of it for you..
