Baking with NO SUGAR!?!

Question: I love baking but to make a long story short I don't have any sugar and don't plan on getting anytime soon.

I've already looked everywhere for a recipe with no sugar but they all lied and actually do have sugar.

What sorts of recipes can you give me that include NO WHITE SUGAR. Preferably a baked good.?

Use honey, but you only use half as much as you would sugar (ex. 1 cup sugar = 1/2 cup of honey). Now cookies don't turn out quite as nicely if you use honey, cuz they are a little big gooey, unless you like softer cookies. Muffins are very good with honey, they don't turn out much different than if you had used sugar.

You can use honey if you have it. Just use the same amount you would use if it was sugar

sugarless cookies?

...ok i really have no idea how to bake, so all my suggestions would just be preceded with 'sugarless'.

Now why would you want to bake without sugar?

I haven't found any baked goods that do not have some amount of sugar. Which is a bummer. I assume you don't have any brown suger either, because that can be used to substitute for white sugar.

I would like to bake without sugar because I'm diabetic.....good enough reason to the answerer who asked?

You can use honey in any recipe that calls for white sugar, but since it is sweeter, use about 1/4 less.... as in if it calls for 1 cup of white sugar, use 3/4 cups. Also, since honey is 20% water, you may need to adjust liquid amounts a tad and cooking temp should be slightly lower as honey browns faster.

Substitution: HONEY 1 cup = 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar plus 1/4 cup liquid (whatever liquid the recipe calls for)

Really delicious!

Coat a 9x13 inch dish with cooking spray. Place cereal into a large bowl; set aside.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt margarine. Add marshmallows and corn syrup and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in chocolate chips until melted. Remove from heat and pour over waiting cereal; stir well to coat. Press into prepared pan. Cool completely before cutting into squares
