Pizza Supreme...

INGREDIENTS
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
2 cups warm water (110 degrees to 115 degrees)
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
SAUCE:
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons grated onion
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
TOPPINGS:
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 ounces Canadian bacon, diced (optional)
1 (3.25 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
1 medium green pepper, sliced
1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup minced fresh basil

DIRECTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add oil, salt and 2 cups flour. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rest in a warm place for 10 minutes.
Combine sauce ingredients; set aside. Divide dough in half. On a floured surface, roll each portion into a 13-in. circle. Transfer to two greased 12-in. pizza pans; build up edges slightly. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Spread with sauce; sprinkle with toppings. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

They may seem like a strange one but believe me tastes great.

Hummous instead of the tomatoe sauce
Mixxed peppers and blue cheese topping

Extremely rich and better on a small pizza

Go to trader joes, get their pre-made pizza dough. Make a sauce by skinning and seeding 4 tomatoes, chop up and cook down in some olive oil and add some crushed red peppers. Get some fresh mozarella and some fresh basil. BBQ the pizza on one side for about 4-5 minutes, turn over and put the sauce and cheese on it, let it cook till melted and put the basil on it. This pizza is always a hit around my house.

i love pizza!! i love garlic chicken from piiza hut and wild mushroom from california pizza kitchen....if i make my own pizza, for the crut i make it out of biscuit dough from pillsbury...so puffy and good!! then top with marinara or spaghetti sauce..then top with lots of mozzarella cheese and pepperoni and grilled chicken and mushrooms and some red onion and whatever else u like! for dipping sauces i love ranch and garlic cream sauce..yummy!

My favourite pizzas are ones that are made with ciabatta bread instead of the usual pizza base.

Vegetable pizzas are my favourites.

You need:

a baguette of ciabatta bread
jar of pasatta sauce
concentrated tomato puree - 1.5 tablespoon
concentrated garlic puree - 1 teaspoon or more if you like garlic allot!
Mixed herbs
Half a bell pepper, diced, whatever colour u prefer
1 onion diced
5 or 6 decent sized mushrooms, finely sliced
half a courgette or zuchini, diced
small tin or sweetcorn, drained of water
mozzarella cheese, i buy the pre-grated stuff as it saves time and can be frozen for next time if u have any left over

Slice the ciabatta bread lengthways then slice the two halves in half again

Pour the pasatta sauce into a bowl and mix in the tomato and garlic puree and the herbs

spread over the ciabatta bread

cover the bread with all the vegetables then cover with the mozarella

bake in oven at 200 degrees for approx 15 mins until cheese is slightly golden and bubbling, but check them as cooking time may depend on what sort of oven u have.

Enjoy! lol xx
