You can season Hamburgers with anything your little heart desires. It is all up to your tastes.

The trick is cooking it correctly without turning it into a hockey puck.

When you cook a burger, or any type of steak for that matter. This applies to both.

Put it on the grill or in the pan or what ever you are cooking in or on. You are only supposed to flip it once. keep that in mind and, PLEASE, don't squeeze it down like I have seen people do, that just squeezes the juice out.

Here is the trick
watch the juices that come out of the burger while it is cooking. At first it will be bloody, but as it cooks the color will slowly change from red to pink to clear. That is how you tell if it is

Rare
Medium
or well done...

Its not that hard of a concept. But, most people just don't get it.
you need to time each side of the burger though. It does take a couple of tries to get it right. If you want it well done when the juice's will be starting to turn pink that is when you flip it. If you want it Medium when the juices just start to change from red to light red flip it then cook it for exactly the same time you did on the first side. Do you see where I am going here? You will never ever have a hockey puck burger again if you just follow those simple rules...

You will have a juicy burger every time.

Good luck and enjoy....

salt pepper

For 1 lb. of meat, add 1 egg and some bread crumbs (to bind it all together). The easiest seasoning is to add a package of dry onion soup mix to it all. Mix (with your hands) and form into patties. If you're going to BBQ them, spray them with Pam first, so they don't stick to grill. Or, you can broil them, or cook in a frying pan with a little olive oil.....

easy!!! u spash the ground beef into a circle a flat one but not 2 flat. then u place it n the frying pan or on the grill. seasoning ssalt is mmainly used once n a while when they r raw. u psrinkle some on it. then b4 its done but ur salt and papper on it.

season the beefwith salt and pepper.. then put on grill... u always cut a slash in the middle.. to see if you like tht way its done, rare med rare, well done.. ect, its easy when u get the hang of it =]]

nice lamb mince mixed with fine breadcrums and 1 free range egg - salt. pepper - make into patti shapes and put in fridge for 2 hours or overnight - then brush with olive oil and grill - serve in a grilled pitta bread with freash herb salad and mayo - you could also add peppers or chillis or olives to the mixture - enjoy hope you like them i make them all the time

Simple !

Meat
1 Egg
an Bread Crumbs
I use a little Garlic Powder an some Onions for flavor !

Mix all together in a Bowl then break out in lil patties to cook !

my daddy is a cattle rancher. did u buy the beef from him? cuz if u did, u wont need seasoning.

You don't need to season, you can do that after, Forming the patties is the trick. They should be lightly formed, pressing them makes them tough.

pepper, maybe a little worchestershire sauce, but all you really need is some pepper. Form ground meat into patties and grill, geesh

1 lb ground meat (any meat chicken, beef, pork, etc)
1 egg
1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
salt and pepper
couple shots of hot sauce
couple shots of liquid smoke
couple shots of worchestershire sauce
1 pck Lipton onion soup mix

Combine all of that with your hands. Make into patties and cook them on a grill. For chicken, pork, or turkey make sure it's cooked all the way through. For beef you can do medium or rare. Take hamburger buns and put mayo on one side and mustard on the other. Put butter or oil onto a griddle or in a frying pan. Brown the sides of the buns that will touch the meat and set aside on a plate. Put more mayo and mustard if you want. Place the meat on the bottom bun, put on cheese, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, anything else you want. Put the top bun on. Serve with fries or chips. If you want a good dessert, take some sweet potatoes and cut them into fry shapes. Fry them just like french fries and when they're out, sprinkle powdered sugar on them. You can serve them with ice cream or fruit topping or whipped cream or all three.

I put ground hamburger and seasonings in a bowl (salt, garlic powder, pepper, whatever you like). Mix together, Form balls and flatten to desired shape and cook.

I use salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoning salt. Mix it in a bowl, roll them then flatten them out with your hands. You can pan fry, put them on the grill, george forman, or put them in the oven.

Take the ground beef and roll into a ball. Then flatten it . Place on a medium heated non-stick pan. Add salt and pepper on top. Fry about 10 min. one side and 10 min. other side if you want it well cooked. After cooked place in between 2 slices of hambuger buns or bread. Add cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion or pickle. Or whatever you prefer.
