Can I make biscuit dough the night before & refrigerate?!

Question: To speed my morning up I was hoping to make the dough tonight, knead, cut out & refrigerate. Then pop them in come morning. Will this make them chewy or hard? Does it do anything at all?

Leave it covered.

I've never tried it, but it's worth a try. I wouldn't think it would hurt anything tho. Let them sit at room temp a few min. before you put them in oven

As long as you put it in the fridge and keep them covered with plastic wrap it should be fine and what a way to speed up the next morning when making breakfast.

yes

I do believe they will come out flat when baked. You could mix all the dry ingredients in a zip lock bag and the wet ingredients in a covered bowl and place that in the fridge. In the morning combine the two and bake. You could also bake them at night and warm them up in the morning. Microwave is good for that. Just keep an eye on them because they can get real hard.
