Yes, you can. Brisket has a higher fat content, so use a fattier ground beef. That way it will be nice and juicy! And remember not to press the patty while it is cooking or all the juices will come out and it will be drier. If you are worried about the meat cooking through cover the pan for a minute to have the steam cook it through.

Or you can buy a cut of brisket and ground it yourself in a food processor!

Either way the recipe looks delicious!!

I'd say use really lean ground beef like 97/3. Ground turkey would be good as well.

I don't know why not, but I'd definitely add some seasonings to the ground beef (chopped onion, garlic, pepper, seasoned salt)

Of course.

I don't see why not, although it wouldn't taste quite the same.

Yes you should be able to use reg. in this, I made something similar last night, I stuffed mine with sauteed onions and mushrooms, then topped with swiss cheese. YUMMY!

I think it would be okay. Its a burger.

umm, probably lean, i cook alot, but i have never tried anything like that.

Absolutely, a brisket is a piece om meat from the belly of the cow and ground meats are usually from the shoulder or the rump. The brisket cut is a little more fatty, so regular ground beef should be fine.

yes, you could sub the brisket for regular ground beef. Brisket is beef after all. And yes it looks yummy!

First of all I have never seen ground brisket in your every day market. The price must be expensive if it were or you would have to grind your own, If i like the recipe over all , then I would use a lean ground beef.

I just took a second look at the recipe and it call for a cast iron skillet. I don't have one.

It looks real good if someone else is cooking it, its too much work for me.

It does look yummy!!!!! I'm sure you could use almost any kind of meat in it. I would use lean meat. less fat will drain from them.

yes it fine

Absolutely! To trim the fat, you can pat off some of the grease with a paper towel.

regular is fine...but i would jazz up that recipe a little bit...add some more flavor to the meat

i use ground sirloin

I don't see any problem with it!

Why not, use what you already have. why should you expense yourself
