What is the best tasting fish to use for baking?!

Question: I tried Tilapia and it was aweful

Answers: I tried Tilapia and it was aweful

Tilapia is nasty. Muddy-tasting like catfish. Blech.

Try cod, orange roughy, halibut, mahi mahi, or drum.

alaskan cod

Flounder, definitely. Best for breakfast, though, with some grits and cheese.

MahiMahi is great, and I love shark and trout.

My mom used to always bake trout with crabmeat inside in the summer. It was so good. : )

I very biased, but I think its Flounder, with paprika, ceyenne, and cumin, and lemon before serving.

I like salmon or mahi mahi. 'Meaty' fish are the best choice. Swordfish works good too. The right seasoning makes all the difference too.

catfish, haddock

Tilapiais bettr for frying, i like baked haddock.

wahoo yellow fin tuna are the best they are priced high but tastey!

halibut

Tilapia is very good but any fish if it is over cooked is awful. Your thinner filets take only about 10 minutes in an oven at 350. We eat alot of bass, speckled perch, talapia, salmon and most of the time i cook them in the oven. lemon pepper, salt, paprika , butter. about 10 -15 minutes depending on thickness. They are moist and flaky, tender and tasty. I prefer a mild tasting fish. Also flounder is good too.

Salmon. (hands down)

tilipia is great tasting! ecspeacily breaded with garlic flavored bread crums!

Wild caught salmon is great, just don't overcook it. I also like cod.
