Does anyone have a delicious recipe for coleslaw for 110+ party guests to go with a BBQ????!

Question: Am having a party (approx 110+ guests) and taking the easy option of BBQ sausages in bread rolls and thought coleslaw would be nice in the roll with the sausage. Any good recipes to make a coleslaw that big (obviously a few bowls!) Any other ideas for a salad that would go well?

20 lbs shredded cabbage
3 red onions diced
4 green peppers, diced
3 big carrots, shredded
6 cups sugar
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup celery seed
6 cups apple cider vinegar
3 cups vegetable oil
put vegetables in large tub. pour seasoning on top and let set for a while. the whole thing will start to wilt slightly and make it easier to stir. Mix together till well blended. This will store very well for a couple of days so you can make it ahead of time and it will actually taste better the second day. When you buy the cabbage, don't get the pre cut stuff with red cabbage added. The red cabbage looks neat at first but bleeds onto everything else then looks sort of horrid.
Another option:
Use the same vegetable amounts but not the sugar, salt, oil and vinegar. Buy a gallon of store bought Cole slaw dressing, if you prefer the creamy kind of slaw. Buy the best brand possible because some of the cheaper brands don't have a lot of flavor.

a 110?????

Costco.

14 medium heads cabbage, cored and shredded
14 medium onion, finely chopped
14 cups white sugar

1/4 cup and 2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup and 2 teaspoons celery seed
1/4 cup and 2 teaspoons white sugar
1/4 cup and 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
11 cups vegetable oil

In a large bowl, toss together the cabbage, onion, and a cup sugar. In a small saucepan, combine the vinegar, salt, celery seed, a teaspoon white sugar, mustard and oil. Bring to a boil, and cook for five minutes. Cool completely, then pour over cabbage mixture, and toss to coat. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor.

triple this recipe or make different kinds of coleslaw and please a lot of people :)

Forget making it a good majority of supermarkets have edible bulk buy tubs. I wouldn't waste my time. As for sausage sandwhiches you have to have fried onion with either barbeque sauce or tomato sauce. That is tradition!
