Well, you can. But it will nottaste as good as milk. But again, it wont to be bad.

water will work fine.

Yes, you can use water.

But see if you have any evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed) or powdered milk in yoru pantry. You can make milk with those.

pancakes are so simple the milk is too important. Make an omlette.

It'll be watery. Do you have Coffeemate? a container of flavored yogurt is really good in pancakes too! ... or sour cream? You can substitute any of those, but the yogurt is especially good (try blueberry or cherry)

Yes you can. The pancakes will actually be lighter and fluffier with less calories.

No....... that will be nasty...... go buy some milk.... use canned milk or powder milk.........add water to cream cheese or sour cream....... but don't use plain water.

I wouldn't. They probably won't taste nearly as good. I always keep an emergency supply of either powdered milk or the shelf kind in the small carton that stores for months. it was handy for travel trailers. You could make french toast instead and you can do that with out milk if you have enough bread.

Yes you can but you might want to try these substitutions. You can mix evaporated milk (half milk, half water) or you can use coffee whitener like Coffee Mate mixed 1/2 c with 1/2 cup water. The pancakes will taste o.k. with water, but these are just a few suggestions for milk substitutes that I have used successfully to cook with.
