What ingredient will cut the salt taste in food?!

If it's a soup that is too salty, peel and cut up a potato put in the soup. Cook until the potato is soft and remove it. It will soak up some of the salty flavor.

I'd say use less salt and then you won't have a problem. What food are you speaking of, specifically?

If it is a wet food peel and cut potato and put in and they will absorb some of the salt from the moisture.

from previous experiance sugar usually takes away salty flavour

Salty taste is hard in Stews or Soups use whole peeled potatoes... If its meat or poultry soak it in buttermilk...
Or what I done is double the recipe with out the salt...
You get 2 times the food but you can refreeze it...
