Will it hurt you?!

Question: When ever I do Easter Eggs with the kids, we use Easter Egg dye. But when you peel open the hard boiled egg, there's some blue or green or whatever color dye on the outside of the egg. It's just some parts if the egg. Is it okay to eat???

Sure! Especially if you use PAAS, they only use edible dye that is safe. I wouldn't use dye from the Dollar Store. You can also use food coloring and a ittle vinegar instead of buying a kit. Have fun!

food colouring is harmless and dyes the eggs :)

If you are using food coloring, it should be fine.

It's just vegetable dye so don't worry about it.

It's food grade dye.

Therefore, it's safe to eat.

But if you use some other kind of product for dying them than either the kits or food coloring (from the spice/baking good section of the store or a baking supply store) then you have to be sure it's FD&C coloring (food, drug, and cosmetics.)

Not D&C (not safe for food.)

You might want to go with regular food coloring, in liquid, paste, or gel form. You can get some cool colors that way and you can mix them up as strong as you like.

Add some white vinegar to help the dye "stick" better.

you are safe has food dye has no toxic or dangerous substances so you dont need to be alarmed.

yes, as long as the egg is boiled enough

Yes its fine to eat the egg. Its just food coloring as in frosting and cooking. No harm. Just colorful protein.

u r safe
