What ingredients go well in a red cabbage salad?!

Question: So far I have carrots, cilantro, and green onions. I am going to make a sesame dressing. Do you have any suggestions for any other vegetables?

fresh pea pods sliced on the diagonal, maybe some yellow bell pepper. These both would add some more color and crunch! Not a vegetable, of course, but how about some slic almonds (toast first).

bell pepper would be good, i love poppy seeds in mine.

red cabbage etc.

it seems the only thing you might be missing is maybe diced celery....

I have a dynamite Red Cabbage Slaw that uses beets, crystalized ginger (chopped, of course) and frozen defrosted dark cherries......quite unique and good.....If you'd like the recipe, email me at my 360 profile page, as I'm at my work computer and don't have access to my recipe archives here.....

I would add some sultannas and apples the sweet contrasts with the sour happy cooking bon appetite

cranberries
chicken
chinese noodles
