Home-made Fat-Free Chocolate Sauce/Syrup

1 1/2 cups water
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups Dutch-processed cocoa
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons light corn syrup

In a small pot, bring water and sugar to a boil and whisk in cocoa, vanilla, salt, and corn syrup. Whisk until all of the solids have dissolved. Reduce sauce until slightly thickened. Strain and cool to room temperature. Pour into squeeze bottles. Squeeze into cold milk and stir for delicious chocolate milk or serve on your favorite ice cream. And, hey, it's fat free!

The best website i've found that you might be able to find something like that on is www.foodnetwork.com
they have alot of great recipes.

there is no good low fat chocolate sauce... i really good one, but not low fat at all, is this one:

1cup of heavy whipping cream
1cup of chocolate chips

heat over stove till its all smooth and then pour over cakes or dip fruit or something in there... very tasty!

maybe if you used milk instead of heavy whipping cream it would be less fattening

LOW FAT CHOCOLATE SAUCE

1 tbsp. arrow root
2 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. Dutch cocoa powder
4 tbsp. brown sugar
5 tbsp. water

Mix in reverse order, water, sugar and cocoa. Mix water and arrow root and add to first mixture. Simmer until cooked and thickened. Stir constantly
