Milk Substitutions?!

Question: I began to bake something and have all the ingredients in the bowl already and realized I have NO milk!!! I have half and half and need 3/4 of a cup of milk. Can I add water to the half and half and add it in?

using the half and half undiluted will be fine....It might be a little richer...but richer is always better..

You'll want to research it a little for specifics, but I've read before that using banana in baked recipes can substitute for milk in some cases.

Good luck!
