We all love a fry up on a Sunday, but....?!

Question: What can I have that's as good as a fry up, but a bit more saintly? I.e. not as fattening.

Wey hey, I'm away to Morrisons for a flying start breakfast, yummy.

Fry some fish in a pan full of shallow oil. That's not as fattening and the calories just drop off when you exercise so all is well.

Egg white omlette, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, (reduced sugar) baked beans are all healthy.

just grill everything dont fry it

A grill up? Grill as much as you can of your English brekkie (maybe not the eggs or beans)

It tastes better too.

A nice bit of "Crumpet".. But with lots of butter

Maybe turkey ham or sausage, grilled veggies and egg white omelets with reduced fat cheese.

Instead of frying your food, grill them instead and have a poached egg with it all

Just grill your bacon, scrambled eggs instead of fried, grilled tomato's and mushrooms.Toast instead of fried bread and quorn sausages.

grill your bacon, sausages, tomatoes have scrambled egg whites

egg white omelet with non fat cheese..bowl of fruit topped with fat free pudding and cool whip..toasted bagel with fat free cream cheee and jelly..or just go crazy!! choco chip banana pancakes with chocolate fudge sauce..muffins, bacon, eggs, hash brown, corned beef hash, pancakes..or make whole wheat pancakes with some syrup and no butter..healthy but good! add bananas to make tastier and moist..:)

Have your cooked breakfast but grilled. You will reduce the fat intake and it tastes much nicer than full of fat. The eggs can be scrambled rather than fried and these are excellent when done in a microwave.....have brown or multi grain bread and a light margarine.............eat healthy and stay lean

Try using the shoulder bacon (the one with no fat on it) in a pan with cooking spray, and instead of eggs have what my kids call 'Ronnie Eggs' which is scrambled eggs with tomato, mushrooms, onion, low fat cheese and baby spinach through it. If you can stomach Kanga Bangers they are awesomely healthy (about 1 gram fat and 90 grams protein per 100 grams). Have wholemeal toast and you got yourself a saintly fry up.

Don't fry the breakfast, grill it instead, apart from the egg - if it has to be fried then there is no choice. Or scramble the egg instead.
